Install the SDK
One package pulls in typed clients for every resource.
# Node npm install @trybe/sdk # Python pip install trybe
The trybe API gives you multi-currency accounts, real mid-market quotes and payouts to 150+ countries on local rails. One REST surface, idempotent writes, signed webhooks and SDKs for every stack.
npm install @trybe/sdk
$ curl https://api.trybecc.cloud/v1/transfers \ -H "Authorization: Bearer trb_live_•••" \ -H "Idempotency-Key: 8f2c-4a19" \ -d '{ "from": "BRL", "to": "EUR", "amount": 25000, "recipient": "rcp_9f2c" }'
import Trybe from "@trybe/sdk"; const trybe = new Trybe(process.env.TRYBE_KEY); const transfer = await trybe.transfers.create({ from: "BRL", to: "EUR", amount: 25000, recipient: "rcp_9f2c", }, { idempotencyKey: "8f2c-4a19" }); console.log(transfer.status); // "settled"
import trybe client = trybe.Client(api_key=os.environ["TRYBE_KEY"]) transfer = client.transfers.create( from_="BRL", to="EUR", amount=25000, recipient="rcp_9f2c", idempotency_key="8f2c-4a19", ) print(transfer.status) # "settled"
client := trybe.New(os.Getenv("TRYBE_KEY")) transfer, err := client.Transfers.Create(ctx, &trybe.TransferParams{ From: "BRL", To: "EUR", Amount: 25000, Recipient: "rcp_9f2c", }) fmt.Println(transfer.Status) // "settled"
Grab a test key, install an SDK and fire your first transfer against the sandbox — which runs the same rails behaviour as production.
One package pulls in typed clients for every resource.
# Node npm install @trybe/sdk # Python pip install trybe
Every request is a Bearer token over TLS. Test keys are prefixed trb_test_.
export TRYBE_KEY=trb_test_••• # keys live until you # rotate them yourself
Pass an Idempotency-Key and retries are always safe.
trybe.transfers.create({ from: "USD", to: "BRL", amount: 500 })
Predictable, resource-oriented REST. JSON everywhere, ISO-8601 timestamps, cursor pagination and the same error envelope on every endpoint.
Create a cross-border transfer at the current mid-market rate.
Retrieve a single transfer and its settlement timeline.
List transfers with cursor pagination and status filters.
Cancel a transfer while it is still queued.
List every currency balance on the account.
Fetch a single balance with available and reserved amounts.
Convert between two held currencies at the real rate.
Snapshot of all supported mid-market pairs.
A single pair, e.g. BRL-EUR, with a 30s lock token.
Lock a rate for a specific amount before you transfer.
Register a payout destination with local rail details.
List saved recipients across every corridor.
Remove a recipient. In-flight transfers are unaffected.
Subscribe an endpoint to one or more event types.
Replay past events for reconciliation and backfills.
Send a signed sample payload to verify your handler.
Idempotency, signed events, sandboxes and status — the things you only notice when they are missing.
Every state change is delivered as an HMAC-signed event with at-least-once delivery, automatic retries and a replay API for backfills.
Send an Idempotency-Key with any POST and a retried request returns the original result instead of moving money twice — safe for timeouts, queues and at-least-once workers.
# first call → 201 Created, charges once # same key → 200 OK, same transfer back POST /v1/transfers Idempotency-Key: 8f2c-4a19
Typed, hand-reviewed clients generated from the same OpenAPI spec that powers these docs.
Test keys hit a sandbox that models Pix, SEPA and FPS timing and failure modes — so your error handling is tested before it ships.
Five edge regions, independent failover and a public status page.
